I have a quick question. I am pretty new to this so bear with me. I have created a windows service in C# that queries a SQL database. The database has changes since I first created the service. As you realize LINQ doesn't support added columns to the database. I downloaded the huagati tool in an effort to remedy this problem. I have installed the tool and I can see the DBML/EDMX Tools tab at the start up menu. Once I get into my project I no longer see the tab. I was able to check and see that the add-in is recognized, so I know that the tool is installed properly. Am I wrong in assuming that the project I created must be a DBML or EDMX file? Because I don't see the tab, I am assuming that it is not the correct file type. Yet, I don't understand how it's not a LINQ2SQL project if I am querying a database using LINQ. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks.
