When I select an association on the .dbml and change the Child Property option to False (as shown in the attachment) that setting seems to be wiped out the next time I run Update LINQ-to-SQL Diagaram from Database. Is there any way for these settings to be maintained? The reason I need them is rather complicated and has to do with Unidirectional serialization in LINQ.

Hi,

Yes, in the 'exclusions' dialog (ignore-list) you can exclude just one side of a FK constraint. See the attached screenshot.
