Hi,
After upgrading to Windows 7 64bit, the installer failed with "Could not access network location \Addin". My documents are in C drive and the addins folder is there. Any other addin was installed correctly. I use VS2010.
Thanks

Fixed. I had to delete the files from "My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Addins" before installation. The error message was confusing.
Another problem: Since I installed version 1.86 it keeps telling me I can upgrade to version 1.86 which I just downloaded.

Hi,

Yes, very odd error message, but I'm guessing it somehow failed to overwrite the existing files. (Normally it should).

The extra upgrade error message is a bug; due to different revision numbers in the VS2008 and VS2010 builds v1.86 on VS2010 would incorrectly ask you to upgrade to 1.86 even when running 1.86. That has been fixed in v1.87 (just released).

Best regards,
Kristofer

The "Could not access network location \Addin" installation error was a bug in the installer - 1.87 was just re-released with a new installer that should fix this.
