From the FAQ
"Q: How do I upgrade from a previous version?
A: If you are running a version earlier than 1.40, simply install the latest version. The installer will overwrite the previous version.
If you are running version 1.40 or higher you need to uninstall the previous version first and then install the latest version."
So, it's harder to upgrade in later versions!!
The installer should be intelligent enough to cope with a previously installed version. That's a pretty basic operation nowadays?

You're absolutely right - I'll change that in the next version.

Excellent, thanks!
Some way of quickly upgrading from within Visual Studio would also be a bonus especially given that your release cycle is quite short.

Ok, as of ver 1.58 it will ask whether to download the update or not when showing a 'new version' notification message.
The installer still has to be run manually though, but the '
download now?
' thing should save a few clicks.
