If I use the model comparer for propagting a many to many relationship from CSDL to SSDL and DB it generates column names Id and Id1 in the relation table. I would prefer names that show the meaning of the column cause sometimes we have to look at the data directly in the database.
I would propose to name it after the role name.

Yes, that would make sense. I will look into changing that in the next version.
